Presenter manual

We have 2 AV technicians onsite who will be looking after speakers. If you have a technical issue, you will find an AV tech at the tech desk at the back of the conference room.

Please let us know your AV requirements but completing the following survey.

Oral presentations

Please ensure that you set your presentation slides to 16:9 format before you begin making your presentation (you can change to 16:9 later however it may require some changes to get images to sit properly on slides). To change your slides to 16:9 in PowerPoint follow these instructions:
1. Open a blank PowerPoint presentation
2. Click on the ‘Design’ tab
3. Click on Slide Size and then click on Widescreen (16:9) in the dropdown menu

Please send your presentation to us via OneDrive here.

We understand that your presentation may change before the event, so please bring an updated copy on a memory stick with you on the day.

On arrival, as you check in at the registration desk, we will introduce you to the AV techs for a quick run-through of your presentation and to select mic preferences.

Please note that keynote talks are 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A), full-length talks are 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for Q&A) and short talks are 5 minutes. To help keep the conference running smoothly and on schedule, please be mindful of your allotted time.
